Sub-Committees of Session

Christian Education

The purpose of the Christian Education Committee is to nurture the growth of all children of the church, so that they may become effective disciples of Jesus Christ, both in the community of faith and the world.

Discipleship

The purpose of the Discipleship Committee is to nurture the growth of all members of the church, so that they may become effective disciples of Jesus Christ, both in the community of faith and the world.

Fellowship

The purpose of the Fellowship Committee is to bear the responsibility for the enrichment of the lives of the members and visitors and the development of our lives together as a loving community.

 Finance

The purpose of the finance committee is to exercise overall responsibility for the finance matter of the church and to lead the congregation to a Biblical understanding of Christian Stewardship and to develop a strong program of giving, emphasizing tithing and benevolence.

Membership

The purpose of the Membership Committee is to represent God’s reign in the world through worship, service, and community. The membership committee members, invite, assimilate, and retain members through outreach and by creating a welcoming, caring and learning environment.

Mission

The purpose of the Mission Committee is to create a church that fosters spiritual growth, as well as to increase and focus our mission commitment.

Nominating

The purpose of the Nominating Committee is to make nominations for all officers, all trustees, all nominating committee members, and other committee members which are presented to the congregation for voting.

Personnel

The purpose of the Personnel Committee is to be a liaison between the paid staff members and the church.

Worship & Music

The purpose of the Worship and Music Committee is to coordinate the worship services and music.
